Confession and Prayer Prayer of Confession: Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too often the devices and desires of our own hearts, and have transgressed your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and we have done those things which we ought not to have done, and there is no health in us. O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare those who confess their sins. Restore those who are repentant, according to you promises declared unto us in Christ Jesus. Grant that we may live a godly, righteous and holy life to the glory of your name, through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Silent Prayer and Confession Minister: Amen. Assurance of Pardon: Psalm 103 Response: “In Christ Alone”

The Service Of The Word * Hymn: PH 396 “Low in the Grave Christ Lay Christ Arose * Confession of Faith: Martin Luther, The Small Catechism I believe that Jesus Christ, true God, begotten of the Father from eternity, and also true man, born of the Virgin Mary, is my Lord, who has redeemed me, a lost and condemned creature, purchased and won me from all sins, from death and from the power of the devil; not with gold or silver, but with his holy, precious blood and with his innocent suffering and death, that I may be his own, and live under him in his kingdom, and serve him in everlasting righteousness, innocence and blessedness, even as he is risen from the dead, and lives and reigns to all eternity. This is most certainly true. Scripture Reading: Matthew 28 Sermon: Resurrection Life Prayer * Hymn: PH 402 “Alleluia, Alleluia! Give Thanks” Church Street
