    Welcome and Announcements

    Silent Prayer and Preparation

*  Call to Worship:                                                                                                 Psalm 67

Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth, sing praise to the Lord, to him who rides the ancient skies above, who thunders with a mighty voice.

Proclaim the power of God, whose majesty is over Israel, whose power is in the skies.  You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary; the God of Israel gives power and strength to his people.  Praise be to God!

*  Hymn:   PH 428                         “O Worship the King”                                            Lyons

*  God’s Greeting:

Grace and peace be to you in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

    Amen.

The Lord be with you.

    And also with you.

Our help is in the name of the Lord,

    Who made heaven and earth.

Blessed be God,

    And blessed is his kingdom, now and forever.  Amen.

*  Prayer of the Day:

O God, the protector of all who trust in you, pour out upon us your mercy, that, with you as our ruler and guide, as we pass through things that are temporal, may we not lose the things that are eternal, through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

*  Response:  PH 358, stanza 4       “As with Gladness Men of Old”                        Dix

Holy Jesus, every day keep us in the narrow way,

and when mortal things are past, bring our ransomed lives at last

where they need no star to guide, where no clouds your glory hide.

Confession and Prayer

    Responsive Reading of the Law:  PH 1017

    Prayer of Confession:

We confess to You, Almighty God, that we have grievously sinned in thought, word, and deed. We ask that you forgive our sins through Christ Jesus our Lord. Let your forgiveness make us willing to forgive all wrong which we have suffered, and to ask forgiveness for every wrong which we have done. Give to us a contrite heart and a spirit of humility. And we pray, merciful Father, that you would restore our souls in Christ Jesus, that we may be merciful and kind, even as you have been merciful unto us. Grant that we may know Christ, and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings, so that we may live in a manner worthy of his kingdom and gain eternal life through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.

Silent Prayer and Confession

Minister: Amen.

    Assurance of Pardon:                                                                                           Micah 7

    Response:                  “Change My Heart. O God””

Refrain:      Change my heart, O God, make it ever true;

                      Change my heart, O God, may I be like You.

You are the Potter, I am the clay.

Mold me and make me, this is what I pray.  (Refrain)
