A number of opportunities are provided for adults to meet for Bible study and fellowship.

The following ministries are listed on this page:

Church School

Adult classes are held on Sunday mornings during the school year. Classes begin at 9:00 AM.  The following classes are currently offered:

  • Verse-by-verse study of the book of Revelation.
  • A study of "The Bible on Gender and Leadership".

Dorcas Society

An opportunity for women to fellowship, pray, and study the Bible. Taking their name from the disciple of Acts 9:36, "who was always doing good and helping the poor," this group also seeks to support charitable causes. The group is studying "The Gospel of John" (starting September, 2022), and meets from late September through early May on alternating Tuesdays at 10:30am.

Catechism Study

One of our statements of faith, the Heidelberg Catechism, offers a rich opportunity to dig into the truths of the Bible. This study group meets every Thursday morning from 6:15 – 7:00 a.m.

Small Groups

A number of small groups (6 – 10 adults) are organized within our congregation to bring people together on a regular basis for a time of study, prayer, and fellowship. Currently, there are groups meeting on Sunday and Thursday evenings; some meet in homes, some meet at the church. If you would like to join such a group, or have questions, please contact the church office.

Coffee Break and Story Hour

Coffee Break reaches out to women and children from the community through a time of fellowship, Bible study, sharing, and prayer. The group meets on Thursdays at 9:30am during the school year. Story Hour, for 3- to 5-year olds, offers Bible stories, singing, praying, crafts and snacks. A nursery for infants is also provided. See our Coffee Break page for more information.
